LIONS PARK BEACH

Lions Park Beach is the cute little beach south of Pambula Beach and is one of our "off leash" dog friendly beaches.

Drive along Coraki Drive in Pambula Beach and you'll see a little white-fenced driveway entrance on the left before you go down the hill to the river mouth.  The excellent facilities at Lions Park Beach are thanks to it's namesake service club - there's a large pergola, BBQ's, picnic tables, disabled access viewing platform and walking tracks across the headland to the north and south - all built and maintained by our wonderful Lions Service Club community.

This lovely little beach is regular visit for many dog owners who throw a ball and give their dogs a run here in the mornings and afternoons.  For lots of great views and whale-spotting opportunities, walk from Pambula Beach all the way to the river mouth and back along the headland track.

There's quite a few viewing platforms to stop along the way.  With the river mouth a short walk to the south, and lots of rockpools and rocks to climb, this is a wonderful beach for exploring. Often a good wave here too, so pack the boards if you are so inclined.

Dolphins are often feeding on schools of fish here so keep an eye out!
