THE TWYFORD is a performing arts venue in the heart of Merimbula managed by The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and registered arts charity, on behalf of the trustee Bega Valley Shire Council for the community of Merimbula.

THE TWYFORD stages professional touring and locally produced live performances and manages community and commercial hires.

Venue spaces include:

170 seat heritage-listed Twyford Hall built in 1931 with bar heaters and ceiling fans, removable tables and seating that can be used for art exhibitions and displays, meetings, rehearsals, workshops, functions and small music or theatre performances on a raised stage with built-in audio and stage lighting.

20 seat Supper Room with air-conditioning.

Commercial kitchen that can be hired for everything from basic tea and coffee preparation to preparing 3 course meals for functions.

New 199 raked seat fully airconditioned/heated Theatre adjacent to the Hall, with proscenium arch stage, state of the art audio, stage lighting and AV including high speed Internet streaming in/out, loading dock, 2 dressing rooms, control room and stage management desk (due for completion 2024).

New lift-accessible Theatre Foyer with box office and cafe/bar that can be independently hired for small events when not in use as the Theatre foyer (due for completion 2024).
