Merimbula Boardwalk - 3.4km

Start from right in town and head towards the bridge over the lake, crossing the road to the right to continue onto the boardwalk.  Wind your way over the water, stopping to observe the information signs and little detours along the way.

Lake Street Shared Pathway from Rotary Park to Bar Beach is a wonderful new 1.3km elevated walkway.  Wide enough to accommodate prams, dogs and bicycles it's also wheelchair friendly and offers views of Merimbula Lake and Main Beach.  Starting at Rotary Park (corner of Main & Cliff Streets), wind your way along Lake Street, ending at gorgeous Bar Beach, one of our smallest and prettiest beaches.

Middle Beach - 400m (stairs and a track leading down to the beach).  A rugged and often deserted beach which is also a fantastic whale watching spot during the season.

Djirringanj Peoples Walk leads you from Spencer Park to Bar Beach.  Walk from town or park at Spencer Park or Rotary Park.  Look for the path cut into the cliff-side (2.4 Km round trip).

Please note this walk is currently closed for repairs.

Pambula Rivermouth Walking Track - 1.2km return

Panboola Wetlands

Pambula - variety of shorter casual walking tracks

Mundooi Walk Tura Beach - 4km return

Park at Short Point and walk down towards the beach. Towards Back Lake you will see the walking track leading over the sand and onto the well-maintained track.  This is the start of the Mundooi Walk (4 Km round trip). The word Mundooi means ‘to walk with your feet’ in the indigenous Dhurga language which is spoken by the local Djiringanj tribe.
There are beautiful views over Back Lake and across to the natural bush reserve on the far side. Information signs along the way provide details on local flora and fauna.  A short connecting path will take you through the trees to a raised viewing platform. Check out the sweeping views over the ocean and back across to Short Point Beach.
The path ends near the Tura Beach Country Club golf course.  Get beach access here onto Tura Beach and enjoy the return trip along the back to Short Point.
